Sustainability and environmental protection through green energy production is vital to the well-being of the world we live in.
The 125 kWp PhotoVoltaic system of ALCO Filters has been commissioned and the energy production of the system is expected to exceed 200,000 kWh per year. Therefore, the company is taking the advantage to utilize the existing inclined roof in order to save 50% of the energy needs and also contribute to the reduction of the greenhouse gas emissions by 125 tonnes annually.
The photovoltaic system operates with the self-consumption method and consists of 368 JA Solar 340Wp PV modules and 5 Fronius 25kVA inverters with an expected Return on Investment at 4.5 years.
