NEWS - 2011 - PASCAL English school pupils race the day away!

On Wednesday 19thth October 2011, PASCAL pupils and teachers made their way to Daytona Raceway for an afternoon of healthy competition and fun. The annual Go-Karting competition, this year kindly supported by ALCO Filters, is part of the school’s wealthy extra-curricular programme wherein pupils develop interpersonal skills, competitive spirit and knowledge in a non-academic arena.
The event was successful in that pupils of all ages interacted with their teachers and their peers and cooperated to produce a fun-filled afternoon. There were winners in three categories: Kritos Nicolaou of class 2C in the Juniors Category, Stefanos Philipou of class 4D in the Cadets Category and Alexis Christodoulides of class 6A in the Adults Category. Many thanks go to Daytona Raceway and the very helpful staff, the pupils for their enthusiastic participation, the teachers for their hard work in organising the event and of course Alco Filters for their generous support.
